For this month’s Faith and Agriculture Webinar, we'll be joined by Torray Wilson, co-owner of Seven W Farm in Iowa.
Informed by biology, Seven W Farm raises 200-bushel, non-GMO corn, replacing common fertilizer inputs with cover cropping, minimum tillage, multi-crop rotations, and a compost extract produced on the farm using the Johnson Su bioreactor composting system. Torray additionally manages a grass-fed dairy herd that provides organic milk to the Organic Valley Cooperative. The dairy herd is a mosaic of colors, representing dairy breed genetics from New Zealand where there is an emphasis on selecting cattle that yield good milk production by primarily grazing.
In the webinar, Torray will discuss Seven W Farm's holistic farm practices, selling organic to cooperatives, as well as selling directly to consumers.

Join the Philadelphia Creation Care Fellowship for a day of communion, learning, and thanksgiving this November! We’ll gather together to hear about the incredible abundance of God’s creation and how we can share this gift with others by actively caring for creation and defending the health and wellbeing of our surrounding communities.
This event will include a provided lunch of turkey sandwiches (please let us know if you have dietary restrictions when registering). We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for a local food bank to share God’s abundance with our neighbors!
